These are the top things to check regularly:
• Oil Level
• Water Level
• Tyre pressure
• Wiper blades
• Lights should always all be working
It is important to know how to change a tyre, as well as know how to jump-start a vehicle in the event of your battery running flat.
2. There are a few essential items that should be kept in your car in case of emergencies and unforeseen situations. These include the following:
• Fire extinguisher
• Puncture repair kit
• First aid kit
• Reflective triangle
• Jumper cables
• Tow Rope
• Torch or light
• A Charged power bank
• Reflective jacket
3. One should always plan for the unexpected, especially in today’s time when safety is a concern. One should always be equipped for an emergency and prepared for any unforeseen situation. It is always a good idea to have the contact number of a reliable workshop on hand that is RMI certified. Auto Care and Diagnostics (ACD) is an independent workshop specialising in vehicle service and maintenance, that can always be called on.
4. Having a roadside assistance plan is vital. It’s critical that you have a reliable, fast and effective service provider that can be there to assist you when you need it. Always make sure the provider you select is able to offer a full service to get you back onto the road.
